I was planning to go holiday at the end of the year with fellow friends, kick back, relax and go on a vacation sponsored by myself. So, went to Matta Fair last Saturday for the first time. Reach there around 4pm. Checked out the fair for some promotion packages, many cheap ones, many tipu people one, that don’t put the airport tax in the prices to attract the public. A lot people walking around, and I mean crowded, just like PC Fair, Malaysians apparently likes to go on a holiday every year, not bad, Malaysia Boleh..

Anyway after walking around and round and round we settled for Cruising~ but it’s not until next year! Still so long more to go. At least can save up some money for shopping…. hehe. There goes my goal of going vacation-ing this year.. What to do.. quite late already to book for this year, coming Raya holidays and school holidays and year end holidays, Christmas, and macam macam(many more). Memang(Really) Malaysia a lot of public holidays!
This is the Star Cruise brochure, I’ve heard a lot of scam going on in Matta Fair, hopefully this is not one of them?

After the fair, its already 7.30pm! Omg so late liao, stomach also hungry. We went to this place in Tmn Megah I think called..
Fatty Crab.
I’m sure many of you already know this place but then again this is my first time here. Mainly because, I don’t eat seafood. Especially squid, clams, oysters, eels, sushi, crab and those raw raw stuff. Why I don’t eat? Don’t know, maybe I’m just picky, hehe. But willing to try new things. Btw, this place is quite famous for its crab and fyi, they don’t serve any vege with the crabs. The only thing on their menu is Satay, Fried Rice, Chicken Wings, Fish, Bread, and of course Crabs.
Fatty Crab. Are they implying their crab is fat?

After waiting for about 30 min, we managed to get a table inside. We ordered some satays, chicken wings, fried rice and crabs. Yummy, I love SATAY, favourite food of all time, and this place satay is not bad. Quite nice. Normally I don’t eat chicken wings but the chicken wings here is not bad at all. Even better than infamous chicken wings at the Stimbot place in Subang. It’s not too soaked, crispy, taste nice and a good appetizers before the crabs arrive. Fried rice also is nice, with prawns and very tasty~ Probably because I didn’t have high expectation, but my friends seems to agree on the fried rice, so it’s not just me alone. Or maybe cos everyone too hungry liao. When you are hungry, anything also taste nice, hehe.
The aftermath, forgot to take the picture when the food arrive, too hungry liao.

My mess of crab shells. Finally I can tell people I eat crab. Hohoho..

Three stooges after makan. Eating crabs have different effects on different people.

On the way back, passed by KLCC. Managed to take a few pictures. I know la, it’s nothing special but I’m kampong boy ma, never been to big city before..haha.. joking.

Okla.. Picture bad quality but the view is nice ma. Someone sponsor me an EOS please?
Sounds like a very full-filling day (pun very much intended).
next time i come up kl i want to eat there. and no, i’m not gonna blanja. ask cheah instead. he gonna earn shitload more than i am haha
cirnelle: Full-filling indeed, pun taken
suang: If cheah is not around then you belanja la, hahaha.. YOU earn shitload more than ME. hahahaha..
ur english is pretty bad for someone who appears to be english-educated. u r not chinese-educated, right ? work on ur english. pay more attention to grammatical errors. i dont mean to offend. im an english tutor, cant help it.
Wow, people nowadays! If I wanted to write proper english then I would write an essay and then you can mark it. Or your students England are too powderful for you?
And saying generalising chinese educated people to be bad in English is just narrow minded. Thats you! (narrow minded) *SHOCKED*
Seriously I am offended that you critisize chinese educated people, as if they are stupid or something. This is not the stone age anymore lah~ Wake up and smell the coffee. Don’t be discriminated on people with bad English la, knowing good English doesn’t mean you are King.
Your comment is not even about the post and obviously just wanting to annoy me, well, it’s not working, dude. LOL. < - Click here.
For an English tutor, your level of English is worse than what I’ve written. Talk about being a hypocrite. So please say something that makes sense, don’t waste energy using the pc and causing global warming just because you had to open your mouth. One less idiot who shuts up to help the earth.
And finally I could have just deleted your comment in frustration, but I’m not frustrated how come ah? Dunnolah, maybe I’m too bored liao. Thanks for visiting my blog weh~ More traffic for me. $$ Ka ching!
Hahahaha! What English? Manglish lah. It’s a more efficient, user-friendly and faster-to-master language than the colonial version. You blog in perfect Manglish by the way, Ant. Keep it up.
ant u dont need to be offended. y were u so defensive ? im not here to annoy you, please. im a 40 year old single mother who teaches english in a local college and i happened to stumble upon ur blog so i left a comment. i was not implying that all chinese-educated people cant speak good english. it’s just that ur writing style is similar to many students of mine who are chinese-educated. it would be totally excusable if you were chinese-educated and u write like that, because many (not all, but many) chinese-ed students dont get to practice english at their homes and among their peers. this is according to statistics. i wasnt discriminating chinese-ed people. my son is in a chinese primary school. im sorry if i offended you. i was just shocked that your english is so bad for someone who speaks english with his friends and family (presumably).
Like what cirnelle said, I overlooked that I’m using Manglish actually, therefore I don’t mind having a bad england at all. Maybe you have too much time until you have to correct my english. Thx for ur concern.
jj,
Blogging is just to have fun on what kind of things you gonna post, no matter use what kind of Rojaks languages, with the combination of multi languages. WE DO purposely post error english sometimes, for readers to laugh at and the most important thing is to enjoy.
Is it a MUST to blog in a perfect english? Error Free? People with poor english are not allowed to blog?
It is not getting an exam for english, sometimes we might purposely or carelessly type something wrong (language). This is a log/diary that belongs to the author. He has his authority to crap whatever things he wants. There will be no others can control, “HEY DUDE, GET OUT FROM BLOGSPOT, CAUSE YOU ARE POSTING POOR ENGLISH..”..
So? why so conscious about a blogger that have the right on posting what manglish/singlish/campur languages/.. ?
First time seeing comment on poor english.. =)hahahaha, that’s really funny to me. I think there are more and more manglish blogger around. Why don’t you go around the whole blogoshpere and critic and comment on their POOR ENGLISH?
Hallo! How cum kl got so many different type of crabs???Fatty wan, hairy wan, salty wan also got! BTW tq for dropping at my site! Have a nice day!
For goodness sake! Are you going to believe that JJ is really an English teacher? Come on. Look at it. It’s disgusting. How can you possibly presume that Ant is English educated or Chinese educated by just reading his blog? I have known friends who are Chinese educated and they can write poetry like the Philharmonic Orchestra. And, hasn’t anyone notice, while JJ was criticizing Ant about having grammar mistakes in his blog entries that JJ’s grammar isn’t that great at all too. Frankly speaking, for being an English tutor I can spot tons of grammar mistakes.
(1)ur - Your(What the hell!)
(2)cant - can’t (apostrophe?)
(3)work - Work (Capital letters?)
Ok. I’m just joking. They were only a few.
Anyhow, I’ll say I have the respect for you for being a single mom if what you are saying is true. That’s great. Well maybe, you’re aren’t discriminating against the Chinese educated after all and I would like to believe so.
And you’re way older than me, and my parents teaches me to never be rude to the people who are older than me. And so I hope you don’t take this as an insult instead take it as a friendly banter.
A friendly advice, never ever drop the hammer on someone especially when he’s called Ant. You’ll never know when he’ll have his army of ants drop by and bite back as I have already seen a few who have already made defences.
Adoi, cakap a lot eh I today? Don’t MinD mee, i sudah SIau!
