Can someone tell me why tmnet suck again? No? Nevermind I’ll tell you instead.

So, yesterday was raining, so connection was at a crawl. Who knew that the weather affects ADSL broadband connection. I know rain can affect the roads and caused a jam but apparently in Malaysia, this happens to the broadband connection as well( TMNET in this case). Not only that when it rains, my signal will drop, and I will have to wait for the signal to get ’stable’ again before I am able to reconnect.

So, tonight wasnt raining(tho it did in the afternoon). Well guess what, the connection is like fuck again. A ping to google is averaging 1200ms while the NORMAL STREAMYX is suppose to be 300ms and below.(The lower the ms the faster the response is, which translate to faster loading time for websites)

So yeah, I decided to do a little test and guess what, when I connected to the dialup (by dialing 1315 using a normal modem) I got a 450ms ping to google.com

WOW, HOLYSHIT, imagine that, a dialup is faster than my fuckup streamyx. YES ITS MINE I PAID EVERY SINGLE CENT OF IT ON TIME EVERY FUCKING MONTH. And what do I get? A connection that is not EVEN CLOSE TO “BEST EFFORT”. I’ll give u an F for effort, for FUCK.

And now, I just wasted a damn 20 minutes of my life doing the test and typing on the blog about it. If you can, please cancel your streamyx line and subscribe to other ISP.

TMNET able to spend millions on their advertising and PR campaigns, don’t tell me their exchange is congested because lack of hardware/upgrades or funds. That is utter bullshit. If TMNET were a political party, it would be voted out ages ago.
For me, I will be going thru some career change soon and after that is finalized, no matter what happens, for SURE Im gonna cancel this stupid line. I rather pay EXTRA for the same speed/bandwidth than give my money to these bloodsuckers. TMNET, you can kiss my royal ass goodbye. ADIOS MAISAFULERK!

First there was the lawyer’s march, then the BERSIH march. And then there’s the HINDRAF gathering. This year has been an interesting one for PM of Malaysia, AAB(short for Abdullah Ahmad Badawi). Recent things that I have read on the mainstream(eg government controlled) newspaper(THE STAR, NST) have been such a joke I do not know whether I should cry or laugh. Not only it’s a joke, it’s a blatant lie. I mean, how fat of a lie can it get? Surely you can trick some of the people most of the time but you can’t trick all of the people all the time.

Such a rot. Such a stink. Such a farce. Everybody know where it’s coming from. Nobody is doing anything.

Update on Advertlets MAJOR Fuck Up.

Josh Lim replied my comment, via email, explaning the situation in depth.
I understand their situation and accepted the explanation however I won’t be returning to Advertlets anytime soon.
