Writing from my friends place here, wating for him to pack so that we can leave for malacca. Hope to arrive there before midnight. Then tomorrow will be leaving for Johor. Having some bbq there. Will update later with pics.
Was in Bangsar on Saturday for lunch. Spotted this on my way to my car.

It appears that this Vios has an intercooler. At first, I tought it was fake, but judging by the piping and boost meters, it might have a real turbo underneath.
Just came back from having dinner in Petaling Street with a friend. Beef noodles, best I’ve had. Can’t believe I haven’t been to Petaling street before this, I guess I’m a Petaling street virgin. This street is best known for all kinds of imitation goods that can be purchased here, from fake Rolex watches to LV hand bags to Adidas shoes. They even have fake perfume! The amazing thing is, they all look like the real thing, it’s hard to tell the difference from the original products and the fake ones. Malaysia Boleh eh, haha. The street also reminded me of the famous night market in Bangkok that I went last year, can’t remember what the place is called. Pictures to come later, but unfortunately can’t take alot of them, as both of my hands were occupied with holding my drinks, a cup of sugar cane water in one had, and a cup of ”air mata kucing” in the other, haha.

Petaling Street on a Sunday evening

Had dinner last night with a group of friends who came up from Malacca. Dinner was ok, somewhere near Times Square. After dinner, made our way to Sungei Wang for a K-ok session. All in all, was a fun night, but also a tiring one. Came back at 5 am, only had about 6 hours of sleep this morning. I thought I would lose my voice the next day (damn Aerosmith song), but thankfully, my throat was fine.

Me, sleepy, tired, sore throat, but having fun
My third post of the day, must be some kind of record. Went out with a friend of mine on Saturday, and she suggested that we make a road trip to Port Dickson on Sunday (yesterday) for some R&R. Actually we’ve been talking abt the going to the seaside for sometime now, just that it always never happens. Don’t know why that day we were so enthusiastic, that we made up our minds to leave for PD the next day. We called up another friend, and the 3 of us left PJ at 4pm on Sunday. The plan was to take the highway to Sepang, and use the old roads from there on.

Once we’ve exited the highway and onto the old roads, all we could see were palm oil trees.
(PAWS - woof woof!)

The pictures were taken by my co-driver (thanks for keeping me awake during the drive back). After about 1.5 hours of driving, and passing some other small towns, we finnaly arrived at PD. We stopped at some resort, whose name escapes me right now. Spent around 30 minutes there, enjoying the breeze and scenery.

After the beach, we tought ok, that’s it, lets go back, but on of my friends suggested a trip down to Malacca. Since my friends haven’t been there in a long while, I said why not. So after a lil discussion, it was decided that we were to proceed to Malacca, which is another 80 km from PD. Decided to stick to the old roads too, and enjoy the scenery. We managed to arrive in Malacca at around 8pm, and headed to Jonker Walk, a famous road in Malacca which is converted to a pedestrian mall during the weekends.

Once there, we met up with a guy my friend and me knew back during our uni days, and since I’m such a lousy Malaccan, he brought us out for dinner. Then we went to visit his house. He stays in one of those very old houses you’ll see alot around the Jonker walk area, and I managed to snap this picture of his toilet.

After that, we met up with some of my friends in some cafe in Melaka Raya. Not sure what the place was called, but at least it was different from the usual hang out places in Malacca.

After that, we left Malacca at around 12.30 am, and headed back to PJ. All in all, it was a fun trip, although it was slightly tiring. Hope to do it again sometime soon. In fact I have one planed at the end of this month, will let you know how it turns out. Almost forgot, here are the pictures of the friends that went with me.

This is Kenny.

This is Audrey(my co-driver), she a lil camera shy, so I’ll just post her legs and the shirt she was wearing that day, which I think is kinda funny. And lastly, this is me.
